Getting started with Amplitude
Vespucci + Amplitude
Using Vespucci hand in hand with Amplitude makes its integration incredibly fast. It takes less than 5 minutes to start using Vespucci with your existing data. You don't have to add anything to your product code so you don't have to involve your dev team.
Step 1: Amplitude Dashboard
Go to your Amplitude Dashboard (opens in a new tab).
Step 2: API Key and Secret
On your Amplitude Dashboard, go to the bottom left hand corner and click on Settings and then select Projects in the left hand side bar. From the Project Name list, click on the project you want to integrate with Vespucci. In the General tab copy the API Key and the Secret Key.
Step 3: Vespucci Dashboard
Now go to your Vespucci Dashboard (opens in a new tab). You need to create a new project using the "Your Active Projects" section by clicking on the "+" icon on the top right corner.
If you don't have a Vespucci user account yet, create one here (opens in a new tab). Please note that Vespucci works by invitation only. After creating your account you will be put on a waiting list to join Vespucci during our next batch. After creating your user account, a wizard will guide you through the creation of your first project.
Step 4: Your Project
Give a name to your project. Then choose Amplitude as the Target Platform. Enter the Amplitude Api Key and Secret Key you copied at Step 2.
Congratulation ! You are now ready to start. You just need to install Vespucci on your Mac. You can consult this section of the documentation if you need help with this. As part of the Vespucci Preview program, access to the Mac version is unlocked during the second onboarding call with our teams.
Please note that depending on the size of your Amplitude project, we will need up to 30 minutes to process your first data.
